Cass County, North Dakota is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Finance Director in a multifaceted role that encompasses the statutory duties of County Auditor and County Treasurer, including oversight of all accounting and financial reporting, management of budget and treasury functions, administration of elections, issuance of marriage licenses, and collection of property tax revenues. While this unique opportunity includes a wide array of oversight functions, the County is looking for a strong governmental finance and auditing leader and is prepared to train the right candidate in specialized areas like election administration. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of shaping the financial future of the state’s largest and most populous county. JOB DUTIES

Routine road maintenance, snow removal on roads and parking lots, road repair and mowing of ditches. Responsible for day-to-day inspection and assist with repair of equipment.

Operate a variety of equipment including backhoes, skid steers, dozers, loaders, motor graders, tandem axle trucks, snowplows, and other equipment used in maintenance and construction of roads. Perform a variety of manual labor activities in repairing roads and bridges.

Work activities involve investigation of personal and property crimes to assist attorneys in the prosecution of those crimes on behalf of Burleigh County.
