County Commissioners Choose New Leadership
Cass, Cavalier, Dunn, Eddy, Morton, Mountrail, Sargent, Slope, Stark, Ward and Williams Counties Represented
The North Dakota County Commissioners Association (NDCCA) met Monday, Oct. 27 to pass legislative resolutions and elect members of its Board of Directors for 2025-2027. Resolutions can be seen at www.ndcca.org/resolutions.
The officers of the NDCCA Executive Committee for 2025-2027 are:
- Neal Messer, Stark County: President
- Tracey Dolezal, Dunn County: Vice President
- Glenda Collier, Eddy County: Treasurer (re-elected)
- Joan Hollekim, Mountrail County: Past President
- Miranda Schuler, Ward County, was elected to a new two-year term on the NDCCA Board.
- Cory Hanson, Williams County, and Jim Kapitan, Cass County, were re-elected to two-year terms.
- Scott Ouradnik, Slope County, was re-elected as North Dakota’s representative on the Western Interstate Region Board of Directors.
Board Members not up for re-election this year are Andy Zachmeier, Morton County, and Jason Arth, Sargent County.
The North Dakota County Commissioners Association was established in 1905 to serve and support the interests of North Dakota's county commissioners. Governed by a 9-member board, the NDCCA conducts business 2 to 3 times a year.
