Description: The role of county commissioner comes with many expectations, but no job manual. Aaron Birst, NDACo Legal Counsel, will discuss extent and limitations of commission responsibility and also cover boardsmanship. Meetings can often get off track and take on a life of their own. This webinar will help you hold professional and efficient meetings by providing you with information about requirements of public meetings, meeting agendas and parliamentary procedure. Aaron will also cover the importance of meeting minutes.

Attention Commissioners: This webinar qualifies towards your training requirements for "Role of the Commissioner" (part 1 of a 2-part webinar) as well as "Conducting Meetings."

Attention Auditors: This webinar qualifies for your "Conducting Meetings" training requirements.
