Description: This webinar will focus on the importance of counties having a communications plan. If you don’t have a plan, it’s time to get one. We’re all just one incident away from having all the major news networks at our doorstep. Learn the best ways to work with media and handle the social media chaos that ensues in a crisis so the reputation you’ve taken years to build remains intact. Several North Dakota counties have recently added or are adding PIO positions. Presenter Maxine Herr will provide insight into the development of a County PIO position and how this role has helped Morton County improve communications with residents.
