Our mission to provide officials with opportunities to further their educational development helps to support and advance county leaders in their efforts to manage change and prepare for the 21st century. The many educational opportunities offered by the North Dakota Association of Counties most importantly includes the chance for county leaders to interact and learn from one another, thereby teaching the lessons they learn in the course of county business.
Educational opportunities available include:
- One or more day conferences aimed at county issues and leader interaction
- Institute of Local Government educational sessions and programs
- Scholarship assistance to the children and grandchildren of county officials and employees
- Leadership excellence recognized and awarded by county peers
